Had my appointment check up today and the doctors were surprised that the pain hadn't kicked in yet. They said I superhuman that I could still see 20/16 in my left eye and 20/45 in my right eye. Since I was feeling so great I decided to go a math training I was signed up for. I made it to the training, driving myself, without any problems. During the day, sometimes I would have to just close my eyes and rest but overall I was able to keep up with the reading and discussion.
Around 5o'clock pm was when the pain hit. I had to take half of a Vicodin. I compared the pain to really bad allergies with watering and tearing and a bit of itchiness with a headache in your eyes. I now understand what that girl meant when she said it feels like you've been punched in the eyes. I went to bed pretty early and just wanted to get back to the doctor's office in the morning. When I went to bed my eyes were pretty red and I could feel the contact bandage in my left eye. I took some medication to help me sleep and passed out.
